The Geekvape Sonder Q2 is the upgraded successor to the original Sonder Q — and it takes everything that made the first generation such a popular, budget-friendly Pod kit and improves it in every area that matters. A 35% larger 1350mAh battery over the original's 1000mAh. A jump from 25W to 30W maximum output. An aluminium alloy body replacing the original plastic chassis. A distinctive RGB ring LED indicator built into the iconic Sonder logo. And full compatibility with the entire Geekvape Q Pod range — covering four resistances across both top-fill and side-fill Pod formats — to give every vaper on the Sonder platform access to the right draw for their preference.

The Sonder Q2 isn't trying to be complicated. It's a slim, pen-style Pod kit that's brilliantly simple to use, built better than its price point suggests, and designed specifically for vapers who want a straightforward, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable device — whether they're making the switch from cigarettes for the first time or stepping away from disposables and into a more cost-effective refillable setup. Available in ten colour options, compact enough to slip into any pocket, and auto-adjusting its output to match whichever Q Pod you fit — the Sonder Q2 is an excellent device that gets the basics absolutely right.

Aluminium Alloy Body — A Genuine Build Quality Upgrade

One of the most immediately noticeable improvements in the Sonder Q2 over the original is the move from plastic to aluminium alloy for the device chassis — and the difference in quality is apparent the moment you pick it up. The aluminium body feels solid, premium, and noticeably more durable than the first-generation plastic construction, with a satisfying heft that gives the device a confidence-inspiring feel without adding unnecessary bulk. At 112mm × 23.7mm, it remains genuinely pocketable and lightweight. Still, the aluminium shell helps it handle everyday knocks and scratches without showing its age the way a plastic device would.

The Sonder Q2 is available in ten colour options — Apricot Yellow, Burgundy Red, Metallic Purple, Midnight Black, Misty Blue, Mocha Gold, Moonlight Silver, Olive Green, Sakura Pink, and a tenth option — each finished to a clean, consistent standard across the aluminium body that gives the device a visual appeal well above its price point.

1350mAh Battery — All-Day and Then Some

The Sonder Q2 is powered by a 1350mAh built-in battery — a 35% increase over the original Sonder Q's 1000mAh cell — and the practical difference in everyday use is immediately noticeable. Most vapers running the Sonder Q2 at a comfortable daily pace will comfortably get through a full day and into a second before the battery needs topping up. Lighter vapers can stretch well beyond that. The auto-adjusting output system delivers between 5W and 30W depending on the Pod resistance fitted — with the higher-resistance MTL pods (0.8Ω and 1.2Ω) consuming less power and therefore extending battery life further, while the lower-resistance 0.4Ω Pod at 25–30W draws more and will naturally shorten the charge cycle.

When it's time to charge, USB-C at 1A gets the battery from flat to full in approximately 1.5 hours — and the Sonder Q2's RGB ring LED indicator makes it easy to track your battery level without checking your phone or plugging in unnecessarily. Remove and reinsert the Pod to trigger a battery-level indicator via the LED—green for high, blue for medium, red for low. Straightforward, visual, and genuinely useful.

Please note: The Sonder Q2 kit does not include a USB-C charging cable. Most vapers will already have a compatible USB-C cable.

RGB Ring LED — The Sonder Signature

The Sonder Q2's most distinctive visual feature is its RGB ring LED built into the Sonder logo on the front of the device — a rotating rainbow light display that activates with every puff, giving the device a fun, modern aesthetic that looks genuinely impressive for a budget Pod kit. When the battery is running low, the LED shifts to solid red to clearly signal that it's time to charge. Beyond the battery indicator function, the RGB ring is purely a style choice — and it's a good one. It makes the Sonder Q2 stand out in a category where most devices look broadly similar.

Auto-Adjusting Output — Smart, Simple, and Effortless

The Sonder Q2 uses an automatic Pod recognition system that reads the resistance of whichever Q Pod is fitted and adjusts its output accordingly — no wattage settings, no buttons to configure, and no menus to navigate. The device detects the Pod and automatically sets the appropriate power level. Fit a 1.2Ω top-fill Q Pod for a tight MTL draw and the device fires at 8–12W. Fit a 0.4Ω side-fill Q Pod for RDTL performance, and it steps up to 25–30W. The whole system is completely transparent and completely effortless — which makes the Sonder Q2 one of the most genuinely beginner-friendly Pod kits in the UK right now.

There are no fire buttons to press — the Sonder Q2 is fully draw-activated. Simply inhale and the device fires automatically. The airflow slider on the side of the device is the only control you need — adjustable between a tighter, more restricted draw and a slightly airier, more open experience to complement whichever Pod resistance you choose.

Adjustable Side Airflow — Fine-Tune Your Draw

The side-mounted airflow slider on the Sonder Q2 gives you real control over your draw without changing pods. Slide it towards the more closed position for a tighter, more cigarette-like pull that suits 20mg nicotine salt vaping — or open it up for a slightly airier, more vapour-forward experience when running a lower-resistance Pod. The slider moves smoothly and positively, sitting firmly in whatever position you set it without creeping during everyday carry. It's a small but genuinely useful feature that lets you tailor the Sonder Q2's draw to your exact preference, no matter which Q Pod you fit.

Full Q Pod Range Compatibility — Every Resistance, Both Fill Styles

The Sonder Q2 is compatible with the complete Geekvape Q Pod range — covering all four resistances across both top-fill and side-fill Pod formats:

Top-Fill Q Pods:

0.6Ω (18–25W) — RDTL / Light RDL
0.8Ω (12–18W) — Loose MTL
1.2Ω (8–12W) — Tight MTL / Cigarette-Style

Side-Fill Q Pods:

0.4Ω (25–30W) — RDTL / Loose Draw (exclusively compatible with Sonder Q2, Wenax Q Pro, Wenax Q Ultra, and Sonder Q3)
0.6Ω (18–25W) — RDTL
0.8Ω (12–18W) — Loose MTL
1.2Ω (8–12W) — Tight MTL

The Sonder Q2 ships with one 2ml UK TPD-compliant top-fill Q Pod pre-installed with a 0.8Ω mesh coil — a versatile choice that suits the widest range of everyday vaping preferences and works brilliantly with 20mg nicotine salt e-liquids straight out of the box. QSS Vape also sells all Q Series replacement pods — both top-fill and side-fill — separately.

Every Q Pod features a built-in VPU tech mesh coil that delivers boosted flavour and extended coil life over conventional round-wire designs — and because the coil is integrated into the Pod, every Pod swap brings a fresh coil automatically with no separate coil purchases or maintenance required.

What's in the Box

The Sonder Q2 kit focuses on simplicity — you get the device and a Pod; everything else comes separately. This is a deliberate design choice — it keeps the kit affordable and ensures you pay only for what you need.

Please note: The Sonder Q2 kit box does not include a USB-C charging cable.

E-Liquid Compatibility

The Sonder Q2 with any Q Pod works best with 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids and nicotine salt formulas across all four resistance options. All 10ml nicotine salt e-liquids at QSS Vape — including the full Elux Salt, Crystal Salt, Just Juice Bar, Pixl, OXVA OX Passion, and Riot X nic salt ranges — pair perfectly with the Sonder Q2 across the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods at 10mg or 20mg strength. The 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods work well with 50/50 freebase e-liquids at 3mg–10mg for the best balance of wicking performance and flavour.

High-VG e-liquids of 70VG or above are not recommended — the Q Pod coils are optimised for thinner 50/50 and nic salt formulas and will not wick high-VG e-liquids efficiently at any resistance.

UK TPD Compliant — Genuine Geekvape Stock

The Geekvape Sonder Q2 is fully UK TPD and TRPR compliant — featuring a 2ml Pod capacity within the UK legal limit, MHRA registered, and sold at QSS Vape as 100% genuine Geekvape stock sourced from authorised UK distributors.
