How to Install and Prime Your TPP DM Coil

TPP DM coils use a press-fit installation system — one of the most straightforward coil-change processes available. Remove the TPP Pod tank or Pod from your device, locate the coil slot at the base of the Pod, and pull the old coil straight out. Before fitting the fresh coil, prime it thoroughly by dripping three to five drops of your high-VG shortfill or freebase e-liquid directly onto the exposed organic cotton wicking visible through the coil's wicking ports. Allow three to five minutes for the e-liquid to fully saturate the cotton. This step is critical at the high wattages TPP coils operate at, where an under-saturated cotton wick can burn on the first draw and permanently compromise the coil's flavour before it reaches peak performance. Press the primed coil firmly into the coil seat until it clicks securely into place. Fill the tank with e-liquid, start at the lower end of the recommended wattage range, and gradually work up over your first few draws.

When to Change Your TPP DM Coil

TPP DM coils typically last between one and two weeks of regular daily high-wattage vaping depending on chosen wattage, e-liquid type, and frequency. Higher wattages (DM3 at 80–100W) and sweeter e-liquids will naturally shorten coil life, while more moderate wattages (DM4 at 32–40W) and cleaner e-liquid profiles extend it. The most reliable sign a TPP DM coil needs replacing is a change in flavour — a flat, muted, or scorched taste indicates the organic cotton is spent. Reduced vapour output or a darkened e-liquid discolouration in the tank are secondary indicators. With three coils per pack, a fresh replacement is always ready when you need it.

E-Liquid Compatibility

All TPP DM coils are designed for high-VG e-liquids of 70% VG or higher for optimal wicking, saturation, and cloud production at their respective wattage ranges. Nicotine salts and high-strength freebase e-liquids are not recommended for any TPP DM coil — the high-power DTL wattage ranges produce uncomfortably harsh throat hits with concentrated nicotine formulas. Voopoo officially recommend a maximum of 10mg nicotine strength across the full TPP DM range. You can use 50/50 e-liquids with the DM4 at lower wattage, but high-VG remains the recommended pairing for all four coil options.

The majority of deliveries require a signature to confirm receipt. If a signature cannot be obtained, the carrier may ask a neighbour to sign for the delivery. Deliveries that require a signature will not be left if a signature cannot be obtained.

If the carrier leaves the delivery with a neighbour or at your local post office, they will leave a card for you telling you where it is. You may, when placing your order online, specify a different delivery address than your payment address if this is more convenient for you.
